Congress has not touched the immigration law since 1986. Right now, there is a massive crisis at our nation’s border. The flood of illegal immigrants is putting Florida families at risk, costing taxpayers millions, and destroying our justice system. Our leaders need to act now rather than offer incentives for illegal immigrants to come to our states.
Let’s be clear; I’m all for legal immigration. But allowing people to blatantly break the law by illegally crossing the border and then face little to no consequences has been and will continue to be detrimental to our country.
